holidays

what I want for the holidays
  * At a meeting* Someone asked yesterday “what do you want for Christmas?”  I said

Something about 5′11 hazel eyes, smokin hot body, sexy military uniform  preferably in  whatever they now call bdu’s and you’d have to go all the way to Oklahoma to get it for me.. now ask me what I can have.”

My friend laughed then said “isn’t Oklahoma where your boyfreind is?”

I replied “yes he is.”  My freind just laughed n he says “does he know you want him for your Christmas gift?” I said  “sure, but the Army doesn’t care, typically he works on the holidays.”  My freind goes bummer.

Then we get into the coversation of “why haven’t you and him gotten married.”

I get asked this a lot and there are variying reasons..

1.Ive asked him twice.  One before I ever physically met him, one after.   He said he wants to ask “when the time is right” Knowing Phil the planets will have to be in some certain alignement or something lol just joking.

I think he wants to do the asking and he wants the moment to be just right.

2. We both want to finish college.  We both get more money being single then married.

3.  He is taking off a year when he gets out of the Army, then moving in with me and in his words “we’ll be engaged then.”

4.  I was in no big hurry for the longest time.  Now Im in a hurry to get engaged but want to be engaged at least a year to save up for the wedding..  not fancy or huge but nicer then I got the first time.  * No Peter Pan outfits for my Brother. I will never live that one down!! * cringes*

5. I wanted to get at least 3 years clean and sober ( I have 4 in march of 09)

6. In my heart I feel married to him, and in his heart he feels married to me, so the rest is just formalities.

7. I just figured out recently how to keep mine n K’s ssi n be married.. Goddess bless my very smart sponsor..

What do you want Santa to bring you??
